SHORELINE TO SKYLINE

"At our feet we twined past red supplejack berries, green hooded orchids and the creamy white flowers of the native clematics"

Richard Bangs,
Editor, Expedia.com.

The 71km Queen Charlotte Track, located at the northeastern tip of New Zealand's South Island, is a journey full of contrasts. Experience lush sub-tropical rainforest, sheltered shorelines untouched but for tides, and skyline ridges with unsurpassed views of these sunken river valleys.

This well-formed track takes four days to walk from end to end. Water transport allows flexibility with walking distances. Luggage is transferred on each day, allowing clients to walk with a light day pack only. Fully catered, guided walk options (staying at the best lodge accommodation available) vary with companies offering packages that ensure your walk on the Queen Charlotte Track is a memorable one.
